MICHAEL PEET

Michael Peet moved to Petworth almost 11 years ago and together with his wife Nicole, established the Coco Café & Sugar Lounge. He has been a Petworth Town Councillor since being elected in 2015 and during this time he has served on the Open Spaces and Finance and General Purpose Committees plus numerous other PTC working groups.  He is on the steering committee of Petworth Park Sports CIC, a Trustee of the Leconfield Hall, Co-Founder of Petworth Film House and was an active participant in the 2018 Petworth in Bloom activities.

Michael believes volunteering as a Town Councillor is an opportunity to switch focus, put others before yourself, and partake in activities that make a difference.  He enjoys rolling his sleeves up and getting things done.  Michael feels strongly that any future development in Petworth should be in keeping with the area including starter homes for the young and better facilities for the Town’s young people.
